　　Wang Zhizhi standing 7-1 tall, is the first player from China to ever play in the NBA. Originally drafted by Dallas in the second round (36th overall) of the 1999 NBA draft, Wang has played for the Mavericks and Clippers and Miami Heat. For his career, he has averaged 5.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 10.3 minutes per game.Has appeared in 117 games (one start) in his four-year NBA career and has averaged 4.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 9.9 minutes while shooting 41.3 percent from the floor, 38 percent from three-point range and 74.8 percent from the foul line…has missed 41 games due to injury…has scored in double figures on 16 occasions, including one game with at least 20 points…has appeared in 16 NBA postseason contests and has averaged 1.9 points, 0.6 rebounds and 4.6 minutes while shooting 41.7 percent from the floor, 50 percent from three-point range and 66.7 percent from the foul line…prior to signing with the Mavericks, played five seasons (1996-01) with Bayi in the Chinese League, averaging 22.8 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 139 games…also was a member of the Chinese Olympic team in 1996 and 2000…averaged a team-high 13.5 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting 53.7 percent from the floor and 90 percent from the foul line in the 2000 Olympics.
